With this keypad you have even more scope for control of the S2000 UI
UI Control
•
Learn the UI specific DEFAULT OUTPUT command underneath the relevant Source button
•
Learn the UI specific UP and DOWN buttons underneath the Up and Down Buttons
•
Learn the UI specific LEFT and RIGHT buttons underneath the Left and Right Buttons
•
Learn the UI specific TRACK+ and TRACK- buttons underneath the Next and Previous Buttons
•
Learn the UI specific SELECT button underneath the Select button
•
Learn the UI specific PLAY button underneath the PLAY button
•
Learn the UI specific PAUSE button underneath the STOP button
•
Learn RANDOM and REPEAT underneath Fn1 and Fn2
•
If the controller can issue macros then learn “PLAYLIST 0xx PLAY RANDOM ON” or “GENRE
0xx PLAYRNADOM ON” underneath Fn3 and Fn4
This means you can browse the list of Albums, Artists, Genres or Playlists and Select the album to Play.
Then you can skip tracks. Use the pause command to pause and restart playback. The use of the LEFT
and RIGHT buttons makes menu navigation and selection more flexible.
The Fn buttons enable some one touch music operations as long as the controller can learn codes and
then issue macros of 6 steps or more. The list of Genres is defined in Appendix A. Playlist nubers will be
seen on the S2000 LCD screen when browsing by Playlist.
